Today’s Home School Book Club has been canceled

We are very sorry to report that this Friday’s Home School Book Club (Dorothy’s List/Red Clover) has been cancelled. We’ll discuss this month’s book selections and vote for our favorites at the our next meeting on April 21st. Please contact us at 985-5124 with any questions!

The Steering Committee has mailed a survey to every registered voter in Shelburne seeking feedback on their willingness to support public financing of the proposed Library Center project. As an incentive, three completed surveys received by March 27th are eligible to win a $100 cash card.
Once tallied by the survey writer, the results will be presented to the public during a Select board meeting this spring. Please help the Steering Committee to move forward by completing your survey!

We are open!

The Pierson Library will be open today (3/15) for regular business hours (10-5:30). We look forward to seeing everyone – come on in!

Closed due to weather

Due to the weather, and the fact that the Shelburne Town Offices have closed, the Pierson Library will be closing today at 1:15 p.m. We apologize for the inconvenience – and hope to reopen tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:00 a.m.! (We’ll re-post here if that changes.)

A thank you from the Steering Committee

Steering Committee representatives had a wonderful time connecting with Shelburne residents during both Town Meeting events. We were thankful to have the opportunity to answer your questions, listen to your ideas and spread the word about the library survey.

The surveys have now been mailed, so watch for the envelope in your mailbox in the next few days.

Please help us by participating in the survey process. It’s easy! Just complete the short survey, put it in the pre-addressed, stamped envelope and pop it in the mail!

Remember, if you want to be eligible for one of three $100 cash cards, your survey must be received by March 27th. Three lucky people will win, will you be one of them?

Tonight’s Sci-Fi/Fantasy book discussion has been canceled

Tonight’s Geek Mountain Sci-Fi/Fantasy discussion about “Dark Run” by Mike Brooks is canceled for tonight. We apologize for any inconvenience and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

Library closed Monday February 20th

The Pierson Library will be closed on Monday February 20th in observance of Presidents’ day. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday February 21st.

The staff and trustees would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Presidents’ day weekend.

Library Booth at Town Meeting!

Have you been following the new Library Center project? Do you want to learn more about this exciting project? Library representatives will have a table at both of the Town Meeting events (Monday evening March 6th and all day Tuesday March 7th). Come visit us and learn more about the project and get a close up look at both the site design and the floor plans!

We can provide details about the town wide survey which will be mailed in March, and we’ll tell you how you can win one of 3 randomly drawn $100 cash cards just by mailing in your completed survey!
